Case Western Reserve University School of Law invites applications from lateral candidates for Associate Dean of Diversity and Inclusion. This is a tenured full professor of law position potentially beginning as early as the 2019-20 academic year, but may also begin sometime during the 2020 calendar year. Candidates should have at least seven years of law teaching experience and a strong scholarly track record. This is a full-time position with 50 percent effort as Associate Dean and the remaining 50 percent effort at the Full Professor rank expected to engage in teaching, research, and university and public service. Administrative responsibilities include admissions travel and recruitment, faculty recruitment, alumni outreach, and student engagement related to diversity and inclusion. An endowed Chair is possible based upon prior experience and scholarship.

Consumer Financial Services Compliance Associate (3-5 years)- Cleveland, OH
McGlinchey Stafford seeks to hire an associate with 3-5 years of experience to join our national Consumer Financial Services Compliance practice in Cleveland. The position will involve working with this practice group to provide regulatory compliance advice to depository institutions and non-depository lenders, finance companies, brokers, servicers, and debt collectors about compliance with federal and state consumer financial services laws that govern the financial services industry, such as the Truth in Lending Act (TILA), Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), Servicemembers Civil Relief Act (SCRA), Equal Credit Opportunity Act (ECOA), Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA), and equivalent state laws.
Candidates should have experience in consumer finance matters including experience with regulatory compliance issues at a state and federal level. Ideal candidates will have excellent academic credentials, strong writing and research abilities. Candidates must be admitted in Ohio and their license must be active, in good standing and up to date with current CLE requirements.
